Program Requirements:


  1. Age: At least 18 years of age Education:
  2. High School Diploma or GED 
  3. Physical: Applicants must be physically capable of performing essential functions of the apprenticeship program, included working in the field unassisted.
  4. Background checks and drug screenings will be performed before acceptance into the program.
  5. Alaska Residency: Must be an Alaska Resident for at least the last 12 months.
  6. Driver's License: Must hold a valid Alaska Driver's License.

Upon successful completion of the Year 1 CORE training you maybe be considered for the additional Subordinate training June 15-30, 2017 which includes:

  4. Energy Isolation & Fall Protection (8)
  5. Driving Safety (6)
  6. Trenching and Excavating(8)

  8. Conservation, Asbestos (8)
